Your peyote ceremony preparation should begin by packing light. If your stay extends beyond the retreat arrangements can be made for additional luggage to be stored.  The harsh beautiful desert environment can surprise with suddenly cold nights following warm to hot days.  Layers are advised.  A sun hat and plenty of sunscreen are recommended.  Good hiking boots with moisture wicking socks provide protection from all the desert creatures.  We suggest that you bring a small personal flashlight, water bottle, journal, and any personal care and medications that you may need.  Your guide is certified in first aid and will have basic first aid supplies.
